Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Symitar programmer to join our team as a software developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that automate Symitar postings and integrate with third-party applications.

  • Create and maintain applications in PowerOn to support core banking system (Symitar) and various business applications.
  • Analyze user needs and develop solutions to address them through comprehensive application support, including programming, specification analysis, and development.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to maintain, modify, and optimize software applications for peak performance.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports. Achieves established objectives and results through communications with internal and external stakeholders, managers, and members.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required. Four years of additional specific work experience in lieu of degree is acceptable. Technical work experience with Symitar and Symitar proprietary programming (PowerOn), HTML, Java Script is also necessary.

  • A working knowledge of financial institution operations and transactions.
  • Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) principles and programming languages and tools.

The salary for this position is estimated to be $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include full benefits, 401k match, 18 days of PTO for the first three years, and 99% of the cost of employee healthcare covered by the company.
