Job Summary:

The Gila Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ambulance Driver to join our team. As an Ambulance Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation of patients to medical facilities, while also providing basic life support and emergency care as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency calls and provide transportation to patients in a safe and timely manner
  • Provide basic life support and emergency care to patients as needed
  • Operate ambulance vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized ambulance and equipment
  • Participate in regular training and education to stay up-to-date on emergency medical procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Valid New Mexico driver's license required
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment
