Job Description

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Breast Imaging Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced breast imaging procedures, including stereotactic biopsies and ultrasound-guided biopsies, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Explain procedures to patients and provide emotional support to ensure their comfort and ease during the examination.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with established policies and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography and breast imaging.
  • Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)-certified in Mammography (ARRT-M).
