Job Summary
Spherion is seeking a skilled Wiring Technician to join our team in Sumter, SC. As a Wiring Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrical wiring assembly of switchboards, working from manufacturing information, and ensuring quality through visual inspections and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
- Perform electrical wiring assembly of switchboards using various tools, such as wire strippers and pliers.
- Work from manufacturing information, including front views, bill of materials, wiring diagrams, drawings, blueprints, and order entry systems.
- Understand power flow and reference guidelines to comply with regulations when wiring switchboards.
- Conduct visual inspections of material before and after wiring, identify nonconforming parts, and troubleshoot errors.

Requirements
- 6 months or less wiring experience (must pass wiring assessment)
- 1 year manufacturing or operations experience and/or technical experience in an industrial setting
- Must live within 50 miles of Sumter
- High School Diploma/GED
