Specialized Dialysis Care Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nephrology care in our inpatient dialysis setting. This role requires delivering treatment through various renal therapies while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Some key aspects of this position:

  • No prior dialysis experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • You may have the opportunity to work in different facilities during and after your training.
  • A flexible schedule is necessary, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What you can expect:

  • To be part of a positive team environment where staff RNs play a crucial role in patient care.
  • To deliver specialized care to patients with complex needs, leveraging your nursing skills and knowledge.
  • To oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs, conducting observations and managing treatments.
  • To work in a fast-paced environment, using your head, heart, and hands each day.
  • Specializing in multiple renal therapies, including Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, CRRT, and Apheresis.
  • Daily work in a hospital setting, delivering dialysis to patients at contracted healthcare systems and becoming an integral part of both the hospital and DaVita teams.
  • A dynamic environment with diverse patient needs and varied treatment plans.
  • Schedule: Expect to know your weekly schedule in advance, but daily shifts may change based on patient requirements.
  • DaVita’s Inpatient Dialysis Program is Joint Commission Accredited.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience may be helpful.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is a plus.
  • This position also requires successful completion of the pre-employment color blind test, accommodation may be provided.
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible.

Salary: $45-$52 per hour.
