We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Durant. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing exceptional service to our guests.
Responsibilities- Room Preparation: Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to hotel standards, ensuring that all areas are spotless and tidy.
- Cart Setup: Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including restocking supplies and linen for the next day's use.
- Trash Removal: Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways, keeping our public areas clean and free of clutter.
- Hallway Maintenance: Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
- Reporting: Report any maintenance repairs or missing items to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager promptly.
- Lost and Found: Handle items for 'Lost and Found' according to hotel standards.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Communication: Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and written with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
