Job Title: Powell Customer Service Associate

At Powell Electronics, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries, ensuring a positive experience and building trust with our customers.
  • Order Management: Manage customer orders, including processing, tracking, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, material planning, and warehouse staff, to ensure seamless communication and efficient processing.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve customer issues, providing solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve customer service and support.
Requirements:
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process and manage customer orders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve customer issues, providing solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales, material planning, and warehouse staff, to ensure seamless communication and efficient processing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, especially Excel, and ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience, preferably in a distribution or supply chain environment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with SAP or ERPS Systems, and ability to navigate Powell systems and warehouse operations.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Schedule: Onsite working hours of Mon-Fri., full 40 hour workweek during regular business hours.
