We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at LHC Group in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to make a positive impact on the lives of patients in need of home health care.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions. Based on this assessment and evaluation, the Physical Therapist will work with the physician to develop a treatment plan that aims to improve and enhance the patient's well-being.

  • Evaluate patient's functional status and physical therapy needs
  • Assist the physician in developing the therapy plan of care
  • Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice
  • Instruct and inform participating members of the healthcare team, the patient, and the family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Massachusetts
  • Current CPR certification
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, with access to a dependable vehicle
