Sales Account Manager

About the Role:
The Sales Account Manager - Leasing and Logistics position at Ryder requires exceptional sales skills, negotiation expertise, and account management abilities. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for managing assigned accounts, developing sales penetration plans, and expanding Ryder's wallet share. Your success will contribute to achieving assigned sales quotas and profit targets, while ensuring contracted services are delivered to customers and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
* Attain or exceed assigned sales quotas and profit targets by maintaining regular contact with customers, developing sales penetration plans, and expanding Ryder's wallet share.
* Ensure contracted services are delivered to customers, orchestrate productive working relationships, and maintain customer contact.
* Anticipate problems through continuous dialogue with customers and Ryder staff, supplying customers with information on operational performance and learning their business operations.
* Provide customer education on new services, changes in policies, and best practices for using leased trucks efficiently.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience providing service to customers and selling to customers.
* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or transportation, or equivalent experience.
* Strong sales skills, negotiation expertise, and account management abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively with DTS/SCS teams to develop upsell opportunities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits:
* Competitive salary range: $55,000 - $62,000 per year.
* Annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan opportunities based on performance.

Travel Requirements:
