As an LPN Nurse Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants and supervise them to ensure that they follow established procedures. You will be responsible for providing direct care to residents, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing Services and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement nursing plans. You will also participate in training programs to stay up-to-date on best practices and policies.

Responsibilities

* Direct the daily functions of nursing assistants in accordance with facility rules, regulations, and guidelines
* Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with written policies and procedures established by the facility
* Review departmental policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc., and make recommendations for revisions
* Meet with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan shifts' services, programs, and activities
* Ensure that the Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and reflects day-to-day nursing procedures performed in the facility
* Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services to ensure that the resident's total regimen of care is maintained

Requirements

* Must possess a minimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
* Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
* Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
* Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $ $63,000 - $83,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
