Role Summary

The Developmental Growth Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and success of our participants. This includes providing 24/7 programmatic responsibility for two ICF/IID facilities, ensuring compliance with State, Federal, and local laws/regulations, and maintaining the certification of these programs by the Division of Facility Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Implementation: Develop and implement services that promote developmental growth and independence among participants.
  • Facility Management: Ensure the ICF/IID facilities meet or exceed standards at all times, as measured by continuing certification and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Report directly to the Program Director and ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a professional category (Human Services Field) e.g. Psychology, Education, Sociology, Speech, Counseling, etc.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience working directly with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
  • Age and License: Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid North Carolina Driver's License.
  • Availability and Transportation: Have flexible availability and reliable transportation.
Clearance Requirements
  • Background Check: Clear health care registry and background check.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

$40,000 - $55,000 per year
