Staff Today Inc is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a correctional institution setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with medical protocols and the NC Board of Nursing scope of practice.
Conduct sick calls and assessments, and assist physicians as needed.
Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, and respond to medical emergencies.
Monitor patients for communicable diseases and counsel on compliance with diet, medications, and treatment.
Respond to inquiries, medical appointments, and orders medications and supplies as required.
Requirements:
Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Valid and current RN license issued by the state of North Carolina.
Valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association).
Proficiency in the English language for effective communication with staff and patients.
Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away.
Travel Package:
40 hours of travel package, with a weekly gross pay of $1360 and a local hourly rate of $34. A weekly travel stipend of $1162 (hotel, meals, and other expenses) is also provided, making the total weekly pay $2522. The hourly rate is $63.05, and the pay is $2522 divided by 40 hours.
Shifts Available:
6a-230p 1st shift (8 hours), 2p-1030p 2nd shift (8 hours).
