RBC Bearings Incorporated is a leading manufacturer of precision bearings, components and essential systems for industrial, defense and aerospace industries.
JOB TITLE/LOCATION:
Tax Manager—RBC Corporate Headquarters
DESCRIPTION:
This role reports to our Tax Director and is responsible for tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for income taxes. The successful candidate will collaborate with management, businesses, service providers, and other tax professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completion of federal, international and state income tax returns
- Use and property tax functions
- Audits of federal and state income tax and state and local filings
- Accounting for income taxes in the US and International subsidiaries
- Transfer pricing and management fee arrangements
- Global tax compliance processes
- Supervising professional staff
- Liaison with operating management on tax issues and accounting staff
- Ensuring internal controls over accounting for income taxes
- Departmental liaison with IT staff
- Assisting executive management with corporate tax planning issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Master's degree in business taxation preferred
- JD and/or CPA preferred
- 5-8 years of related experience with industry and public accounting experience
- International tax experience required
