Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Sensata Technologies. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a real impact on the industry.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site technical support and maintenance services to customers worldwide
- Commission and service energy storage inverters, HV battery storage systems, and industrial DC power conversion systems
- Perform design and engineering changes and recommend product improvements
- Write detailed technical service reports and procedures for technicians and customers
- Provide classroom-level training on SCR and SMPS power supplies
- Support Dynapower customers and field technicians remotely via phone, video, email, etc.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in power electronic conversion field or related area
- 7+ years of experience in field service
- Valid driver's license and passport
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Advanced computer skills and networking
- Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic work conditions
This role requires frequent travel (75-80%) to various locations worldwide. You will work in a variety of environments, including outdoor settings and industrial facilities, and will be exposed to low, medium, and high AC and DC voltages.
Physical DemandsThis role requires constant movement and use of limbs, as well as the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
