About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Specialist - Physical Therapist to join our team at UPMC. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in physical therapy, with a focus on developing and implementing treatment plans to improve patient outcomes. The successful candidate will also have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Patient Care Specialist - Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals
  • Providing direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and education
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, as well as contributing to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of practice
  • CPR certification within 30 days of hire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Strong clinical skills, with a focus on evidence-based practice and quality patient care
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
