- Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program is essential for this role.
- A valid license as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Colorado is mandatory.
- Registration or certification by the national board for respiratory care (NBRC) is preferred.
- BLS and ACLS through American Heart are required upon hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification is also required upon hire.
- PALS American Heart certification is required within 60 days of hire date.
- A minimum of one year of recent acute care, emergency care, and intensive care experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation is necessary.
- Experience with respiratory equipment and ability to work Hour Night Shifts with no on-call duties are required.
