Transportation Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess a valid Commercial Drivers' License and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a truck driver. Key responsibilities include:

• Operating a tractor-trailer combination safely and efficiently
• Maintaining logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status
• Securing cargo for transport and ensuring it is properly positioned
• Drives trucks to weigh stations and document weights
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks and reporting any defects or issues
• Inspecting goods to be moved and determining quantities and conditions
• Reading and interpreting maps to determine vehicle routes
• Cramping trailer landing gear up or down to safely secure vehicles
