About the Role

At Seven Hills Foundation, we offer a unique opportunity for dedicated professionals to join our team as an Assistant Residence Director. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the oversight of day-to-day operations in one of our assigned residences. Your leadership skills and experience will enable you to provide on-the-job training to professionals seeking a future operations management role within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual who can:

  • Demonstrate good communication skills and sound professional judgment.
  • Assist the Residence Director with the oversight of day-to-day operations, including direct care, staff supervision, and program leadership.
  • Implement ISP/Support Plans and strategies as written, and monitor and maintain individual ISP program books.
  • Respond effectively to potential safety hazards and emergencies, and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
  • Participate in individual advocacy, and take a leadership role in supporting the accomplishment of individual goals.
  • Assist with safeguarding sensitive and confidential data, and participate in supervision meetings with the Residence Director.
  • Perform additional duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A commitment to assisting people with developmental disabilities to participate fully in the life of their community.
  • Safe passenger vehicle and good driving record, adequate insurance, driver's license required.
  • Varied interests and personal connections in the local community.
  • Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer, or school history).
  • Ability to work as part of a team: positive and constructive.
  • Prior direct care experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy/proficiency preferred.
  • High school graduate or GED with relevant experience; college experience or enrollment preferred.
