Respiratory Therapist Position in New Hampshire

The Respiratory Care department at Della Infotech aims to provide exceptional patient care and advance the science of respiratory therapy through collaboration with staff members and referral organizations.
Salary InformationWe offer a competitive salary, which will be adjusted for local travelers with a 10% reduction. The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), you will be responsible for providing highly specialized patient care services in critical care units and consulting with general surgical and medical floor units. Your key duties will include:
- Coordinating with physicians, nurses, and allied staff to schedule and provide treatments.
- Documenting patient interactions and billing services rendered.
- Administering medications according to written orders and reporting any adverse reactions.
- Responding to codes, rapid response teams, emergencies, and patient transports as required.
- Performing blood gas tasks, including drawing, analyzing, equipment maintenance, and QA/QC.
- Managing mechanical ventilation within specified guidelines, protocols, and physician orders.
- Ensuring all equipment operates properly and is maintained according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Drawing arterial blood gases, analyzing ABGs, and cord/venous/capillary samples.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- At least 2 years of experience in cardiopulmonary services as an RRT.
- Graduation from an AMA-Approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
- Experience with Ventilators, ICU, ED, Blood Gases, Floor Therapies, Nebulizers, and Inhalers.
- Able to work shift alone/independently.
- EPIC experience preferred.
This position requires:
- NBRC certification.
- ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and BLS (AHA) certifications.
- New Hampshire state license.
