Licensed Clinical Social Work Specialist

Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Clinician, you will provide direct services to clinic patients to improve and promote overall health, with a focus on addressing the behaviors that impede optimum health.
Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic and brief therapeutic client-centered interventions, consultations, education and referral/linkages for individuals with emotional, behavioral, medical, mental health and substance abuse issues.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in coordination of care and implementation of the treatment plan.
- Counsel, educate, support and assist clients and families to gain access to internal and external resources.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of local and regional external behavioral/mental health, substance abuse and psychiatric resources for clients in need of additional resources.
- Experience: 2 years professional experience working as an LCSW or clinical psychologist in an integrated medical clinic, or related health care setting
- Additional skills required: Knowledge of federal/state regulations and ethical standards for the delivery of Licensed Clinical Social Worker care. Excellent communication, coaching skills, and team oriented. Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team. Able to effectively utilize an electronic health record to document all patient encounters.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Master of Social Work (MSW) program.
- Certification(s)/Licensure: Current and unrestricted state of North Carolina license as LCSW, required
