We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at Comprehensive Behavior Supports. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Position:

In this rewarding role, you will empower children to develop essential life skills, communication, socialization, and behavior management strategies. You will work alongside a collaborative and positive team, where every day offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a child's life.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism, helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
  • Use positive reinforcement and individualized strategies to engage children and encourage progress.
  • Monitor and track progress using data collection systems and report findings to the team.
  • Collaborate with families to ensure the strategies used are consistent and tailored to the child's unique needs.
Requirements:
  • A passion for helping children and a deep interest in learning more about autism and ABA therapy.
  • Previous experience in working with children with autism, behavioral therapy, or a related field is a plus (but not required).
  • A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with both children and families.
  • Flexibility and reliability with after-school hours (typically 3-7 PM on weekdays).
  • A high school diploma is required; college coursework in psychology, special education, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
