Observation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Observation Specialist to join our team at BB Development LLC. As a Surveillance Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our casino operations.
Responsibilities- Monitoring and Reporting: Utilize CCTV systems to monitor all activities on the casino property, identifying and reporting any irregularities to authorized personnel.
- Collaboration with Security Team: Coordinate with Security personnel to provide optimal security services and ensure the safety of our guests.
- Gaming Regulations Knowledge: Possess a comprehensive understanding of gaming regulations and their application in a casino setting.
- Loss Prevention and Detection: Identify potential losses and take proactive measures to prevent further losses, including detecting cheating and theft-related activities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiently use various software programs, including Oasis Systems, Word, Access, Genetec, Biometrica, CVI, and Excel, to perform daily duties efficiently.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Gaming Registration: Hold a valid/current Gaming Registration.
- Desirable Attributes: Previous experience in casino operations, loss prevention, military, or law enforcement is highly desirable.
The majority of work will be performed in a confined office setting with extended periods of sitting at a desk operating a computer. The environment is typically cool with low lighting. occasional walking, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying items up to 40 lbs may be required. Exertion of up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and negligible force constantly may be needed to move objects. Everyday risks of discomforts typical of an office setting require normal safety precautions. Use of care is necessary in the low-lighted environment to avoid trips and falls. Warm and/or long sleeve clothing or outer garments may be necessary due to the cool environment. We strive to maintain a safe and comfortable working environment for all employees.
Estimated Salary RangeThe estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on industry standards for similar positions in the United States.
