Hazen and Sawyer, a leading engineering firm, is seeking an experienced civil, mechanical, or environmental engineer to lead the design and management of water and wastewater conveyance and treatment systems.

This challenging role offers opportunities to work on various projects locally and regionally, utilizing expertise in hydraulic evaluations, conceptual/feasibility studies, design reports, construction drawings, and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have between 6-10 years of experience in water and wastewater-related projects, including pumping, piping, and treatment facilities. Additionally, they should possess excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evaluation, planning, and design of water and wastewater conveyance and treatment systems
  • Supervise junior staff and manage projects effectively
  • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and presentations

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in water and wastewater conveyance and/or treatment design
  • Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering
  • Project management experience for smaller projects
  • Self-starter with attention to detail and PE License

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
