High-Risk Newborn Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Neonatal Physician Assistant to join our team at Britt Medical Search. The successful candidate will provide inpatient care services in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), evaluating and managing neonatal patients, and performing procedures as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and manage neonatal patients in the NICU
- Perform various procedures, including high-level invasive procedures such as umbilical line placement
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare providers, and patients to achieve desired outcomes
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary teams
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner: MSN or DNP required, completion of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program, 2 years of level III or IV NICU Registered Nurse experience, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, NRP or STABLE certification, Basic Life Support OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance
- Neonatal Physician Assistant: Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the ARC-PA, 1 year of Physician Assistant NICU experience or completion of a neonatology residency program, Senior Level -3 years of Physician Assistant NICU experience, BS required; MS preferred, Physician Assistant PA State Licensure, NCCPA, NRP or STABLE certification, Basic Life Support OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance
