Job Description

">This Senior Actuary role plays a crucial part in our property and casualty division. As a high-level actuary, you will be responsible for analyzing rate/rule filings to ensure adherence to actuarial principles and compliance with state laws. You will conduct surveys, special studies, data calls, and prepare reports as required. This position also involves providing actuarial perspective and recommendations to staff members and other sections within the MIA.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, a minimum of five years of property/casualty actuarial experience, and Associate through Fellowship standing in the Casualty Actuarial Society, along with membership in the American Academy of Actuaries. Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills are essential.
