**Job Overview**

JB Consulting Systems is a company that values flexibility and independence. We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in a part-time hourly position, approximately 10-15 hours per week.

As an HR Generalist at JB Consulting Systems, you will be responsible for reviewing employee handbooks, providing input on employee policies and procedures manuals, and assisting with compliance with state or federal regulations. You will also edit and prepare Human Resources forms packets, prepare and implement hiring and new hire training processes, and write job descriptions using templates.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in a Human Resources and administrative role, with a strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. They should be able to manage projects through to completion, meet timelines, and work independently with little supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.

**Compensation Package**

Our compensation package includes a competitive salary range of $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This hourly rate reflects the level of expertise and responsibility required for this role, as well as the importance of attracting and retaining top talent in the field of Human Resources.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Review employee handbooks and provide input on employee policies and procedures manuals.
  • Edit and prepare Human Resources forms packets.
  • Prepare and implement hiring and new hire training processes.
  • Write job descriptions using templates.
  • Provide hiring/recruiting assistance to clients as assigned.
  • Review and/or prepare compensation plans or conduct compensation research.
  • Assist with personnel issues including hiring, disciplinary actions, workers' compensation and unemployment claims, and employment laws.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • 6+ years of experience in a Human Resources and administrative role.
  • PHR certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to manage projects through to completion and meet timelines.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, self-motivated, and open to new ideas, projects, and directions within the Company.
