At TotalMed, we are seeking a skilled Neonatal Registered Nurse to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to make a meaningful impact in the lives of newborns and their families.

The ideal candidate will possess a current RN license, BLS certification, and at least two years of recent experience in neonatal nursing. Strong communication and adaptability skills are essential for success in this role.

In this position, you will provide specialized care to newborns in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or other neonatal settings. Your responsibilities will include assessing neonates' health status, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families. This may involve performing neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to ensure optimal growth and development.

Educating parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues will also be an important aspect of your role. Your ability to communicate complex information effectively will be crucial in providing a smooth transition to home care for new families.
