Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Neuro Radiographer PRN to support our Neurosurgery and Neurologic diagnostic and intervention procedures in the Neuro lab and hybrid Surgical suite. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple imaging and navigation systems, including Siemens, Sonosite, Power Injector, Brain lab, Stealth, Fusion, Vison Sense, and VTI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiology equipment to produce high-quality images, maintaining equipment and troubleshooting service problems.
  • Assist radiologists, doctors, and other team members in completing procedures according to protocol.
  • Perform quality assurance testing and stay current with new technology and procedures.
  • Support neurosurgery and ENT operating room cases, setting up neuro/oto cases by loading and merging images in multiple systems.
  • Perform registration routines, merging mapping with previous scans to complete the imaging plan.
  • Save and maintain the repository for stealth scans, download and maintain a database of videos and images from the microscope, O-arm, and multiple navigation systems.
Requirements
  • High School/GED and Associates degree from an AMA-approved program for Diagnostic Radiology.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • American Registry Radiology Tech license and NJ Radiology Tech License.
  • Experience in scrubbing and assisting physicians in Neurovascular Interventions.
Work Environment

Cooper's Neuroscience Unit is a 16-bed ICU paired with a state-of-the-art Neuro Interventional Suite, forming an integral part of Cooper Comprehensive Stroke Center. Our nurses provide expert neurological care in both settings, ensuring seamless continuity of care for our patients.
