Contract Surety Bonds Underwriting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Underwriting Manager to join our team at Great American Insurance Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the underwriting process for surety and fidelity bonds, ensuring that all risks are accurately assessed and priced accordingly.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting or a related field. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, with a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) being preferred but not required.
The Underwriting Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing the underwriting process for surety and fidelity bonds
- Assessing and pricing risks accurately
- Developing and maintaining effective business relationships with internal and external customers
- Providing guidance and assistance to lower-level associates
- Performing other duties as assigned
