Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer at Sulzer USA Inc. will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of electromechanical equipment. With a strong background in electrical engineering, this individual will be responsible for performing on-site field service preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hands-on work to repair and maintain high-voltage equipment
  • Perform diagnostic tests and analyze data to identify issues
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement solutions
  • Provide timely reports to customers detailing job performance
  • Prioritize internal safety initiatives and assist with shop projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 0-4 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in high-voltage systems
  • Strong knowledge of power theory, including operations of induction motors and synchronous motors
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and ability to learn company software
  • Self-motivated and able to take ownership of assigned tasks

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, Sulzer USA Inc. offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
