Job Summary

Arize Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to lead our Accounting Department in State College, PA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing the daily activities of the department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, reports, and regulatory submissions.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and supervise a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful departmental operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial management and leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial software and systems, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
