Programmable Logic Control Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Programmable Logic Control Technician to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and field devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and field devices
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal efficiency
- Monitor PLC devices and systems to ensure functionality and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain a safe working environment
- Provide technical support to users and other technicians, and train and mentor team members as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from trade school or technical school preferred
- 4-6 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- State certified electrician license and other certifications may be required
