At Onebrief, Inc., we're revolutionizing military planning with our cutting-edge tool. As a seasoned Software Engineer, you'll collaborate with our product, design, and tech operations teams to build innovative solutions within highly classified environments.

The ideal candidate has worked on B2B SaaS applications and possesses experience in the defense tech ecosystem. With a strong background in system or backend engineering and full-stack development capabilities, you'll excel in designing and managing complex systems for our customers while working alongside them in Secure Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).

We expect 25% of travel to client sites and SCIFs, so active security clearance is required from the start. Core technologies include Node.js, Typescript, Postgres, Redis, Kubernetes, and React.

You will work end-to-end on our platform, focusing on server-side development. If you're a stickler for great developer experience and have frequently rolled up your sleeves to find solutions that benefit the whole team, this role is perfect for you.

Your prior military experience will help us better understand the challenges our customers face, as well as the technology and networks they utilize. We're looking for a true Onebriefer who is obsessed with creating value for real users.

We offer a competitive estimated salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. You'll thrive in a self-starter environment, embracing autonomy and ambiguity while approaching your work with integrity, intellectual honesty, and a low ego.
