Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the shop floor cost system, analyzing financial and operational results, and providing critical support to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost System Leadership: Oversee the shop floor cost system, ensuring accurate and timely data collection and analysis.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial and operational results, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • AR Tracking and Reconciliation: Monthly track and reconcile accounts receivable issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing financial risk.
  • Month-End Closing and Reporting: Coordinate with other locations to ensure accurate and timely month-end closing and reporting, including account reconciliations and closing entries.
  • Daily Reporting Systems: Own and execute daily reporting systems, providing critical insights to business leaders.
  • Capital Appropriation and Fixed Asset Support: Provide expertise on capital appropriation and fixed asset management, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Plant Spending and Spend Management: Analyze plant spending and lead spend management systems, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Data Extraction and Report Development: Extract and analyze data to develop reports and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Special Projects: Provide financial analysis and process development support for special projects, as required.
  • Corporate Tax Reporting: Prepare and submit annual and quarterly corporate tax reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis: Provide support for ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as needed.
  • Sarbanes-Oxley Requirements: Ensure completion of company's Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for internal controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business: Required.
  • Minimum 3 Years Financial Experience: Required, with a focus on manufacturing companies.
  • Legally Authorized to Work in the United States: Required, with verification of employment eligibility at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Concentration in Accounting or Finance: Preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills: Required.
  • MBA: Preferred.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Required, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and oral form.
  • Self-Starter: Required, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Querying Databases: Preferred.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills: Required.
  • Experience with Cost Accounting: Preferred.
