Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse at Henry Ford Health System in Rochester, MI, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, implement and monitor patient care plans, and serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines of well-coordinated patient care. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role: This position involves working as part of a healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. You will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Your expertise and knowledge will be essential in ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, adjusting as necessary based on patient progress
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines of well-coordinated patient care, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and timely care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement effective patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, medication lists, and laboratory results
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure that patient needs are met and expectations are managed

Requirements:

  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent experience
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross accepted certifications only

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or clinical environment

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
