Job Summary

BD is seeking a Territory Manager to represent BD Peripheral Intervention in a specific geographical area assigned by the company, with the goal of attaining sales objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell the entire product line to current and new accounts, ensuring prompt and mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints.
  • Inform customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies, while maintaining thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data.
  • Execute comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals, planning sales calls on a continuous basis and managing sales time effectively.
  • Analyze customer needs and create solutions, utilizing excellent listening and communication skills to understand contract administration.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of needs/analysis selling, surgical procedure knowledge, and basic anatomy, medical and surgical terminology.
  • Meet BD's auto safety standards and possess a valid state-issued driver's license.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management or related area preferred.
  • Two to three years outside sales experience or equivalency.
  • Demonstrated human relation and communication skills.
