Sanitation Technician

Michael Foods, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of food products in the United States.

We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Technician to join our team at our Lenox, Iowa facility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

This role involves cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and work areas to ensure health and food safety standards are met.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and GMPs
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read and write in English
• Basic mechanical skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs safely
• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification preferred
