Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Cost Engineer to join our team at Optimal Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing costs across various product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supplier part pricing and tooling uplift requests to ensure accuracy and validity
  • Calculate should-cost estimates for manufacturing processes and identify areas for cost reduction
  • Communicate complex cost analysis findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in estimating with manufacturing experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Technology, or Finance-related field
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
