About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Outreach and Career Development Specialist to join our team at Digital NEST. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a critical role in building relationships with local high school stakeholders, community organizations, and individuals from diverse backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for youth development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for implementing recruitment strategies, providing career coaching, and promoting Digital NEST's programs and services to local communities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to increase enrollment in Digital NEST's programs and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local high school stakeholders, community organizations, and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide career coaching and guidance to youth, helping them explore their interests and goals.
  • Promote Digital NEST's programs and services to local communities through outreach events, social media, and other channels.
  • Collaborate with the Center Director to develop and implement program plans and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment, retention, and engagement activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field, or a minimum of 4 years of experience in youth recruitment and program delivery.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and promote Digital NEST's mission.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results-oriented outcomes.
  • Valid California driver's license and reliable mode of transportation required.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $21.50 - 24.00 per hour, prorated paid vacation days, and comprehensive benefits package including CA Paid Sick Leave, Retirement Plan, and Paid Holidays. We take a holistic approach to wellness, physical, emotional, and financial.
