About the Role

As a Patient Care Coordinator with Optum, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process patient check-ins and check-outs for scheduled appointments
  • Collect and process patient payments, including mail and online transactions
  • Prepare patient documents, labels, and packets for clinic operations
  • Schedule, cancel, and change appointments within the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Verify insurance eligibility using the EMR or insurance portal electronic verification system
  • Act as a resource person to patients and staff regarding clinic and front office operations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • 1+ year of Microsoft Office experience
  • 1+ year of customer service experience
Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $55,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
