About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at THE TRAVELERS INDEMNITY COMPANY. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and scalability of our data systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex data solutions using cloud-based technologies such as AWS, S3, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, security, and governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Perform data analysis and problem-solving to optimize data processing and storage.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in cloud-based technologies, data management, and software engineering practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
