Respiratory Therapist

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Respiratory Services Department. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day activities under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures. You will concentrate in specialty areas where certification has been obtained by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs patient assessment and conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures and implements appropriate modalities accordingly.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes consistent with evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist by the state of employment.
AHA BLS required prior to orientation completion.
ACLS, PALS or NPS preferred.
