Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity for a Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. In this role, you will apply your specialized training to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients, their families, and caregivers. This position requires a strong commitment to excellence, professionalism, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care to individuals and groups using evidence-based practices and guidelines
* Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
* Implement interventions and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve seamless transitions of care and optimize patient outcomes
* Educate patients and families about disease prevention, health promotion, and self-care techniques
Required Qualifications
* Graduation from an accredited nursing program
* Current Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
* National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
* 1 year - Nursing experience
Salary
The estimated salary range for this role is $49.77 - $73.13 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
