Electromechanical Engineer 2

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Electromechanical Engineer 2 to join our team at Huntington Ingalls Industries. The successful candidate will apply electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles to components and systems, including assembly, analysis, and documentation of results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports and participates in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems.
- Applies electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation & control principles to components and systems.
- Designs, develops, integrates, plans, prototypes, researches, tests, and troubleshoots robotic and manufacturing automation solutions for component fabrication.
- Creates motion and process programming for robotic and automated manufacturing systems.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots production line faults.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 2 years of relevant exempt experience or Master's Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience.
- Experience with project management, robotic programming languages, offline programming software, and 3D modeling packages.
- Familiarity with major industrial 6 axis robotic systems and collaborative robotics.
