About the Role
We are seeking a skilled HEDIS Abstractor to join our team at Advantmed. As a HEDIS Abstractor, you will play a critical role in collecting and abstracting medical records for HEDIS projects, ensuring accurate data entry into our proprietary software.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of medical records to extract relevant HEDIS data elements
- Enter accurate data into our proprietary software, maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and Advantmed's quality standards
- Complete self-paced training within a defined timeframe, covering key measures and procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in HEDIS abstraction or review, with expertise in measures such as TRC, PPC, WCC, and more
- Medical coding certification (CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA) or an active nursing license (LPN, LVN, RN)
- A Windows-based laptop or desktop computer and a high-speed internet connection
Working Schedule
You will be required to work between 6:00 am EST and 6:00 pm EST, with a minimum commitment of 4 hours per day and a maximum of 8 hours per day. Weekend availability may be available, depending on upper management's decision.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- $27/hour + monthly performance bonuses for candidates with 2+ years/seasons of HEDIS experience
- $25/hour + monthly performance bonuses for candidates with 1 year/season or less of HEDIS experience
This is a remote position available to candidates located within the United States, with eligibility to work in the US.
