We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a member of our supportive care team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and aspirations. You will work closely with our clients to develop personalized plans, promote healthy habits, and foster meaningful relationships.

About the Role:

  • Support Client Well-being: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Foster Independence: Encourage clients to participate in leisure activities, socialize with peers, and develop life skills.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • 1 Year of Experience in Caregiving: Preferred
  • Certifications in Crisis Prevention and First Aid: Preferred
