**Job Summary**
The Occupational Therapist II Specialist evaluates and assists patients in developing, recovering, and maintaining daily living and work skills. This role requires a collaborative approach with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and community agencies to provide education, resources, and referrals.
This position involves conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' cognitive, perceptual, and physical abilities, as well as assessing their home and work environments. The Occupational Therapist II Specialist will collaborate with patients' healthcare teams to establish and implement individualized occupational therapy plans.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and community agencies to provide education, resources, and referrals.
- Conducts comprehensive evaluations of patients' cognitive, perceptual, and physical abilities, as well as assessing their home and work environments.
- Collaborates with patients' healthcare teams to establish and implement individualized occupational therapy plans.
- Accurately files and documents patients' individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Reviews finalized plans with patients and families to verify that all concerns are addressed.
- Provides regular updates on progress to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you should have a California Occupational Therapist License and National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). A minimum of 1 year of prior work experience in occupational therapy is required, with demonstrated interest, aptitude, and skill in student program, clinical education, and program development.
**Benefits**
We offer a competitive salary range of $50.90 - $73.80 per hour, based on relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
