Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior In Home Caregiver to join our team at Senior Lifestyle. As a Licensed Nursing Professional, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide licensed nursing services to residents, adhering to Senior Lifestyle's guidelines and protocols.
  • Contribute to the resident's assessment and plan of care, working collaboratively with the Director of Nursing/Health and Wellness Director.
  • Transfer, position, and turn residents with care and attention to their needs.
  • Provide skin care, nursing rehabilitation, and restorative nursing services to support residents' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Care for residents with dementia, promoting their safety and dignity.
  • Follow the schedule of resident's needs set out by supervisor, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Promote and protect resident rights, assisting them in making informed decisions and treating them with dignity and respect.
  • Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.
  • Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
  • Respect residents' confidentiality, maintaining their trust and confidence.
  • Familiar with emergency equipment and procedures, understanding duties during a fire drill and evacuation plan.
  • Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings, staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and protocols.
  • Maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, preservation of equipment, and achievement of safe working practices.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation, upholding the company's values and standards.
Requirements
  • One to three months related experience and/or training in a skilled, sub-acute, assisted living, or memory care setting.
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
  • English fluency preferred, with ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
