Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Hotel Public Space Attendant/Houseperson to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and allure of our lobby areas, public restrooms, employee restrooms, and property internal offices. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work effectively on their own initiative and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all public spaces, ensuring that every area is dust-free, vacuumed, and polished to perfection.
  • Conduct regular checks of telephone message pads, pens, and newspaper stands to ensure a neat and welcoming appearance.
  • Clean and sanitize public restrooms, including poolside facilities, throughout the day, replacing paper supplies as needed.
  • Dust and clean all pictures, furniture, and other decorative items in public spaces.
  • Monitor and maintain the appearance of work carts, reporting any maintenance needs or special cleaning requests to the Housekeeping Manager or Executive Housekeeper.
  • Practice safety standards at all times, responding promptly to spills and other incidents.
  • Return lost and found articles to the Housekeeping Office, ensuring that all items are properly logged and stored.

Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience desirable.
  • Pleasant personality and a neat appearance essential.
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to our comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, voluntary life and disability insurance, medical care flexible spending account, dependent care account, short and long-term disability insurances, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, paid time off, bereavement time, and 401(k) plan with employer match after three months of employment.
