Job Opportunity

MultiCare Health System is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Spokane, Washington.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical services and communication with patients, families, and other professionals/service providers in the medical community.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
  • Perform and interpret results of Videofluoroscopic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques
Requirements
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with supervision by a CCC-SLP
  • Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Washington or holding an interim permit
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred
